DEAAF is looking for 50 people** who would be willing to commit to donating $25.00 a month over the course of the next two years, so that Lisa Zahra (pictured left with her students), the founder of DEAAF and primary teacher for the children in Monze, Zambia, can continue her work there. Part of that work includes buiding a School for the Deaf on the land which was recently purchased on our behalf by Vision for Underprivileged Deaf Children (VUDC). This school would provide an education for the children who currently receive no services.
Lisa has recently returned to Monze to work with the children. She continues to need your support. She is a volunteer and receives no salary.

The math is simple. If 50 people commit to a monthly donation of $25 (that's less than a dollar a day), that would provide $1,250 a month for the expenses needed for rent, electricity, food and water for Lisa and the children. Your donation will also allow Lisa the opportunity to travel to surrounding villages to assist deaf children, as well as to set up classes in those villages.
Won't you make YOUR commitment today by e-mailing Debbie Rosenfeld with your pledge? Debbie will contact you with all the details on how to fulfill your commitment.
Even if you are not able to commit to the $25 a month level for 2 years, please consider making a donation today. You may mail your check (payable to DEAAF) to:
